InfoBarrel is a website where a cool community of writers come together to create quality content for the web. And by writing this cool content, they earn money! If you want to have a quick look at the site, go here.

How do you earn money on InfoBarrel?

You earn money in 4 different ways:

1. Google Adsense
2. Chitika
3. Amazon
4. Referrals

Google Adsense Earnings explained:

I will create a special page to explain exactly what Google Adsense is. For now, we will concentrate on how you earn money with InfoBarrel and Google Adsense.

InfoBarrel pays you for Adsense clicks. In other words, when you write an article for InfoBarrel and it gets approved and is live on the web, Adsense places targeted adverts on your page. These ads are chosen to blend in with the overall theme of your article. So when someone reads your article and they are interested in whatever you are writing about and maybe want to buy a product related to your article, they can click on the advert on your page and that's where you make your money.

InfoBarrel pays you as a writer 75% of earnings from Google Adsense, which of course is amazing!

If you write articles for InfoBarrel and you want to earn money from the Google Adsense ads on your InfoBarrel articles you have to have a Google Adsense account. If you don't already have a Google Adsense account, you will have to sign up for one, because you will need to set up your Google Adsense Publisher ID on your InfoBarrel account. (Don't worry yet about how to do this, I will get to it in a later post. Just follow this blog and I will teach you what I have learnt so far. Remember, I am a total newbie, just like you.)

Can you see the potential here? It speaks for itself that the more articles you write, the more you can earn!

Chitika and Amazon works on the same principle. You sign up with them and get your code, which you will place on your account and then you earn money from there as well. (Once again, more in a later post).

Referrals explained

Now here's the real cool stuff! If you are a member of InfoBarrel, you can refer other people to the site so that they can also write articles and make money. You will get a referral link which you set up to your account. InfoBarrel pays you 2% of Adsense revenue that these referrals make for EVER and EVER! I agree, it doesn't sound like much, but the BEAUTY of this whole system is that it generates a residual income for life! Residual means that after a couple of years you don't have to do squat to earn money! I told you this is the coolest stuff ever :-)
